WELCOME TO THE NINETEENTH ANNUAL STARS OF TEXAS JURIED ART EXHIBIT
February 5 to 17, 2017
WOW! We were overwhelmed and elated with the exceptional quality of art at the 2016 exhibit. 152 artists from throughout Texas entered a total of 323 pieces of artwork. Our Juror, Warren Taylor, selected 133 artworks from 89 artists for the exhibit. The selected artwork consists of a variety of mediums, subject matter, and exceptional quality that provides a feast for both the eyes and emotions of those attending the exhibit. The Salon des Refusés, sponsored by the Brownwood Art Association, took in 48 pieces of artwork that were not accepted at the Stars Exhibit for display and sale. The Brownwood Art Association Art Center is located at 215 Fisk Ave and will be open to the public each day, February 5th. thru the 17th. We are expecting the NINETEENTH EXHIBIT to be even better and bigger, as each year the quality and number of entries continues to improve and grow.
