| WOW! We were overwhelmed and elated at the number of artists that participated and the exceptional quality of art at last years exhibit. 151 artists from 53 cities throughout Texas entered a total of 356 pieces of artwork. Our Juror John Hartley, selected 119 artworks for the exhibit. The selected artwork consist of a variety of mediums, subject matter, and exceptional quality that provides a feast for both the eyes and emotions of those attending the exhibit.
The Salon des Refuse, sponsored by the Brownwood Art Association, took in 129 pieces of artwork that was not accepted at the Stars Exhibit for display and sale. The Brownwood Art Association Art Center is located at 215 Fisk Ave and will be open to the public each day, February 5th thru the 17th.

Art Talk: Free to Stars of Texas entrants.
