FREE FAMILY DAY
The 2026 Stars of Texas Art Exhibit committee will host THEIR SECOND ANNUAL Family Day event on SATURDAY, February 14, 2026 sponsored by the Woman's Club of Brownwood AND THE HARRIET GULLEY BEADEL FOUNDATION. This event is designed for families, kids, and the young at heart. Here are some highlights:
This come-and-go event is free and runs from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the brownwood depot. It’s a fantastic opportunity for families to enjoy art together in an interactive and engaging environment.
- Hands-on Art Activities: Engage in various art-making activities inspired by our collection.
- Storytelling: Enjoy captivating stories that bring art to life PRESENTED BY THE BROWNWOOD LYRIC PLAYERS.
- Artist Demonstrations: Watch artists at work and learn about their creative processes.
- Gallery Hunts: Participate in fun and educational scavenger hunts throughout the GALLERY.
- Free giveaways: every child will leave with art supplies and educational art books (while supplies last).
