2025 Digital Photography Shoot-Out
Participants will meet at the Art Center in Downtown Brownwood to recieve their assignment. They then complete a digital photograph within a 3 hour period of time.
$25 Entry Fee
Entries will then be judged, and a $250 prize will be awarded.

Participants are welcome to join the judge’s commentary on the entries, shared together on a screen in a group setting, a winner will be chosen shortly after.

PHOTO CRITERIA
Taking Image:
- Photo prompt will be given at 12 PM Feb 1st upon check-in at Art Center
- Photo must be taken after 12 PM Feb 1st
- Photo must be taken within Brown County
- Photo must be a single exposure, no merging of multiple images
- Photo may be taken in RAW or JPEG format, no camera restrictions
Editing Image:
- Photo editing must be done on site at the Art Center
- General Lightroom/Camera Raw adjustments, including masks, are allowed
- NO object removal in Lightroom or Photoshop is allowed
- NO generative expand or fill is allowed
- NO AI generation of any kind is allowed (AI noise reduction/sharpness is permitted, i.e. Topaz, Lr, DxO, etc)
Submitting Image:
- Please export final image as a JPEG attachment with a long edge of 2048 pixels
- Present final JPEG by 3:00 PM
